Terra Imaging was founded in La Jolla, California. Created within the research and development teams of Pacific GIS, the core business model is a derivative from years of 3D simulation and visualization projects.

Internally, the team is comprised of a very diverse group of research and computer scientists, software developers and 3D visual artists.
